Two storeys were added to the existing office building. The added storeys are a steel skeleton structure with primary and secondary façade. The secondary façade is fitted with movable glass louvres that track the sun along a single axis. The louvres on the south side are fitted with solar cells. The thickness of the louvre glass varies between 2 x 8 mm on the bottom floor and 2 x 10 mm on the upper floor in order to account for higher wind loads (AIS-ARCHITEKTEN).
