In the course of refurbishing the school to passive house standards, specially manufactured semitransparent PV modules were installed in the spandrel/lintel area of the south façade of the connecting corridor as warm façade elements (post-and-beam structure). The 24 PV modules produce around 4300 kWh of electricity per annum.
