Economic Efficiency
Building-integrated photovoltaics is often used in creative and prestigious buildings. The photovoltaic building elements are used in place of other high-grade materials such as stone or marble. With almost the same
investment costs, there is much in favour of using photovoltaics as a building element:
- Efficient, space-saving power generation using the building envelope
- Visible, aesthetically appealing contribution to the energy turnaround
- Identifies the project participants as innovative companies
- Architecture integrates ecofriendly power generation
